ISO 9001 and GSP/GDP accreditations renewed for all central warehouses

The Egyptian Company for Medicine Trade has renewed its ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification, together with its Good Storage Practice (GSP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) accreditations, for all central warehouses and the refrigerated fleet.

The two-week audit included site visits to our Cairo, Alexandria and Assiut warehouses, a review of a full year of temperature records, and checks on how shipments are received and how returned batches are handled.

What the auditors checked

  • Temperature and humidity records for every storage and cold room.
  • Calibration of sensors and alarm systems.
  • Staff training on handling sensitive medicines.
  • Batch traceability from receipt to delivery.

Our quality team said the renewal reflects a simple commitment: every product should reach the hospital or pharmacy in the same condition it left the factory.
